Lady Mustangs Volleyball encourages girls to develop their volleyball skills as well as their Christian virtues. Our mission is to provide a competitive and fun environment for girls to grow as athletes, as friends, and as daughters of Christ.  

Brazos Valley Mustangs offers Junior High and High School girls Volleyball teams. For the 2025 season, we plan to have 3 Junior High teams(JH-Red, JH-Black, JH-White) and 3 High School teams (JVB, JVA, Varsity).  

  • Varsity:  Ages 14 - 17 (as of May 31, 2025) 
  • Junior Varsity: Ages 14 - 17 (as of May 31, 2025) 
  • Junior High:  Ages 10 - 13 (10 by September 1 and 13 as of May 31, 2025) 

A player who is 14 as of May 31st must play for a High School team according to current TAIAO rules. Players who turn 14 between June 1st and September 1st have the option to play Junior High, but will need to discuss the play-down exception with the coach. Please email info@bvchea.org if you are requesting a play-down exception.

Players are allowed 4 consecutive years of eligibility at the high school level. For questions about age and eligibility, visit the TAIAO website or email info@bvchea.org.

Parent Meeting August 4

Junior High: 3-4 practices per week starting August 4 

2 games + 1-2 practices per week starting August 25 

2 local tournaments: September 5-6┃September 20 

TAIAO Regional Tournament: San Antonio ┃October 10-11 

Practices are 3:30-5:00pm Monday through Thursday at Legends Event Center. Games replace practices as the season progresses. Full game & practice schedule will be available in the TeamSideline App.

Varsity: 2 local tournaments ┃August 14-16, August 28-30 

JV: 1 local tournament ┃September 5-6 

Varsity & JV: TAIAO Regional Tournament ┃October 10-11 

Varsity: TAIAO State Tournament ┃October 17-18 @ Legends Event Center 

Practices are 4:30-6:30 (JV) and 4:30-7:00pm (Varsity) Monday through Friday at Legends Event Center. Games replace practices as the season progresses. Full game & practice schedule will be available in the TeamSideline App.
