2008 was our second year to hold our tournament at the Texas A&M Student Rec Center. It was another successful tournament and many of you told us again how much you enjoy coming to College Station for this tournament.
The rec-center is a great venue as it allowed us to play 4 games at a time all in near proximity to each other. We look forward to seeing you again this fall.
We have reserved the Texas A&M University Student Rec Center on November 6th and 7th. As necessary a few games will be held at the Lincoln Recreation Center in College Station.
See our tournament invitation flyer.
We hope to have as many as 8 teams in each bracket. With eight teams we will have two games of seeded pool play, followed by two 4 team single elimination brackets with a consolation game.
Each team will be guaranteed 4 games.
Tie Breakers. If a tie breaker is necessary to determine who will advance to the "gold" bracket, point differential of victory will be used - but only up to maximum of 15 points a game.
Each team must provide their own scorekeeper, and the home team (top of the bracket) will be the official book. Teams must also bring a game ball. The home team will select the ball.
For 14U Games
Player eligibility will use the same rules as the nationals tournament and the Texas state tournament. Age determination also will also follow nationals rules - the players age as of September 1st of the tournament year. Age exceptions will be considered by special request submitted to the tournament director.
Teams may play players on two rosters, but not three.
We will do our best to seed the teams based on information provided by the coaches (including returning players) and also last years Nationals finish.
We will post the schedule in mid October after the registration period is over.
The team entry fee is $275 per team. We know that is a lot, but all of it goes to the facility rental and referees.
Gate fees for the tournament are:
From the south/west - (Caldwell on highway 21).
From the North or South - (Highway 6).

Saturday: On Saturday, weekend parking rules will be in effect. You will be able to park in lot 100K near the rec-center entry point. No permits are required and you will be able to park for free.
Note: We will provide the information on how to obtain day parking permits as the tournament approaches. If we are able to get them enough in advance, we may try to mail them to you.

Also, teams cannot practice on any open courts in the center.
If you want to practice, there are outdoor courts near the Lincoln center that
